Levenshtein distance analysis
The Levenshtein distance analysis gives information about the development of a common exploration strategy during navigation through the Case Study in terms of sequence of accesses to the RoIs of a page.
- Kipling Case Study: the analysis confirms the non homogeneous organization among the pages already underlined by the previous analyses.
- English Case Study: obtained data strengths the conclusions of the Between pages analysis. The first accessed page presents differences because it has a new structure for the users while other pages show a similar navigation pattern.
- Statistics Case Study: analysis evidence that pages with the same organization where the main information is presented in the centre of the page are characterized by a low dissimilarity of strategies.
