The following achievements will be reached:
- definition
of specific e-learning scenarios to be examined, in terms of knowledge
context (foreign language, cultural heritage, technical issues contents),
systems structure (static, dynamic, adaptive hypertexts), and target
users (children, adults, non-expert of information technology);
- computation
of quantitative parameters from the cognitive tests (percentage of correct
answers, task duration), from exploration eye movements (fixation duration,
sequence of exploration, number of accesses, percentage of re-fixations)
and from the log life (sequence of visited pages);
- quantitative
data correlation and data mining for the identification of the most
significant parameters;
- definition
of guidelines for the development of e-learning systems with high level
of functionality, usability and acceptability;
- development
of optimised prototypes of e-learning systems, based on
the guidelines, in the same e-learning scenarios used for the assessment
of the methodology.
